What to Expect From Invisalign®
Your Smile Assessment
We need to ensure Invisalign® is the right treatment for you. During your initial consultation, we’ll assess your smile and learn more about your health and lifestyle.
Next, we’ll take digital scans to map out your tooth movements to create your personalised treatment plan
Using 3D digital scans of your teeth, the lab will create a customised series of clear aligners. Each set is slightly different, making minor adjustments to gradually move your teeth into place.
The Alignment Process
Once we get them back from the laboratory, you’ll receive your first few sets of custom aligners to get you started.
You’ll change to a new set of aligners every two weeks, and your teeth move incrementally with each step. The aligners should be worn for at least 22 hours daily to be effective. Total treatment times vary between 6 and 24 months, depending on the complexity of your case.
You’ll start to see the changes as your treatment progresses. Because your aligner is removable, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of your new smile as it forms.
Loving Your Smile
Once your treatment is complete, we know you’ll love and want to keep your new smile. For a while after treatment, you’ll need to wear retainers to prevent your teeth from gradually shifting back. By following this step, your new perfectly straight smile can last a lifetime.
